Removal of ID number in task view

It seems the latest update has removed the ID number from task view. We are reliant on this as part of our workflow - this number is copied and pasted to the title of our request form as we are unable to auto populate both a task ID and a task title.

Removing this from task view is going to greatly impact our processing time. Yes, there are other workarounds, but none as efficient as having the ID in task view to copy. 

Please bring it back!

Hey Talia Neal, do you have Task ID set to on? Here is how to do it -

  1. Select a Folder or Project from the left-hand Navigation panel
  2. Switch to the Table View.
  3. Click on the gear icon in the top left corner. 
  4. Check the box next to “ID”.

We do have Task ID on, however it still does not show in task view. It used to appear here:

We are missing this ID as well in the task details view.

We are using it as part of our workflow to copy/paste it into our TFS as a direct reference to the task.

Please bring it back!

So to turn them off, please uncheck the box next to "ID"
