[Launched! 🚀] Automation Action - Change Custom Field - Dates
Greetings,
I have been digging through the forums and have noticed several people have been asking for similar enhancement that I need(I didn't find it on the product feedback forum).
Add an option on the "Change Custom Field" action to allow you to insert a date into custom field. Have the option to insert today's date, a leading or lagging date, or a static date.
Primary ask is to put today's date in the field the rest would be a bonus

Checking in again on this feature. I see it's still backlogged, is there any plan for 2025 to implement? Would love love love to have this!
It looks like developers have done some work with formulas with dates with actions, with the new the update start and end date having the ability to use formulas, So I hopeful this can movement soon.

I created a custom date field "Expiry Date" and another custom single select field "Contract Status". I created 3 automations that should change the Contract status to Current, Near Expiry or Expired depending on the date. But I can not seem to get it to work.
Is this because custom date fields cannot be automated?
