- New Table View 📊 - Public links now available 🎉
We're excited to announce the rollout of Public Links for New Table view! You can now easily generate live public links from custom views to share essential information with colleagues who don’t have a Wrike account yet. You will find the new button Public link at the top of of the view.
Key points about Public links:
- 🔑 Password Protection: Extra security for your data.
- ⌛ Link Expiry: Set to automatically become unaccessible after a specific date (max 1 year).
- ⚙️ Grouping and Sorting: Included in public link for further customization.
- ↪️ Live Updates: Your public link will update along with your Wrike data. No need for creating new links for every update.
- 📂 Project Hierarchy: Visible, but tasks will be closed from public views.
- 🔗 Classic views solution: First you need to duplicate your Table view and use the duplicated view to create the public link.
- ⚙️ Setting Features: More control over the Public links plus selection of users who can create public links.
- 🔓 Monitoring: All events with Public Links recorded in access and activity reports.
You can read our post about this update to learn all you need to know about public links and how to use them.
- Custom Fields ✅ - Rich text formatting now available 🥳
We've introduced rich text formatting for text-type custom fields! Now, you can use formatting options such as bold, italic, strikethrough, bullets, and hyperlinks!

Nice improvements to keep on going in the new year :-)
Hooray to public links! This will help our team share real-time progress with external people using our request forms.
Next, would LOVE public links for the new dashboards!
Are there any plans to create a link to share a public link to a dashboard?
Love the dark mode and the public links will be so helpful in our collaboration with our clients 🖤
Happy to see that you are enjoying these additions 💪 I'm sharing your feedback on New Dashboards with our dedicated team 👍
Katie and Ronald, public links for new dashboards are coming soon. We'll let you know once they're available.

Love the new features! Are there any plans to allow limited edit access via public links? If someone with access to the link could change the status of a task, it would be a game changer for my team.
@... We love the monthly video summaries of all the releases (some of our users appreciate the visual review/demo) but we noticed the January post did not have a video summary included - has this been discontinued or was it just left off of this one? No way to comment on this page/post so thought I'd leave this here. Thanks!
What's New in Wrike - January [2024]
Sam Penwell Hi, thanks for reaching out! I've checked with the team, and for now, it's not on the team's plans. However, there are plans to make it easy for non-Wrike users to join the account as a new user with the public link. We'll keep you posted 👍
