Archival Beta 🗃️ 📢

We have exciting news for you today!
Some of you may know that our team has been working on the archival feature, and we're thrilled to announce that it's now ready for beta testing! 🎉
Here’s how the archival beta works:
- If you are a space admin, you can archive your space folders and projects where you have full access.
- The archived structure and all its child items completely disappear from everywhere and are only shown in the archive folder of the space where they were archived.
- Archived items don’t impact space performance, no matter how many items your space archive contains.
- Even if parts of the structure were located in other parent items, they will disappear from there as well.
- When unarchived, everything returns to "as it was"
- While archived, no one can edit the archived items.
- Any space admin can unarchive it.
- Structures that are in the space archive: the top level of these structures is shared with all space admins (current and future). Further sharing is inherited according to regular rules. This ensures that as long as there is an admin in the space (and there is always one), there is always someone who can unarchive everything in the space archive.

Any update on whether all plans will have this function ? Archiving is a must for us and we havent been able to do it since joining cause of the plan we are on and its now looking like we may have to go with another provider that does offer this function.
Hopefully wrike make this function for all plans

Thanks for your interest! We've now enabled the beta for you. Reporting for archived items is planned for this year, but we don't have a more exact ETA for that at the moment.

Please enable beta for our account. We currently have our own Archive structure in folders so would be great to test this out and see how the ability for these to disappear for non-admin impacts our team's usage and brings clarity to archived projects/tasks.

Why do archived items still show up in my daily to do digest? When you open that link below in Wrike, you can't delete, un-archive, remove dates, etc.

I believe so. I must have archived it, but was surprised it would still show up in my "overdue tasks created by me."

Hi! Feedback on the archive feature - if you utilize any middleware API (Unito, Workato, Zapier...) to sync tasks between systems, and after the work completes you archive the project or folder where a synced item lives, it will break the whole sync even if synced items are in other locations.
Can you please activate the Archive for my account. Thanks.
Appreciate your feedback Sarah Dungey! For the beta version, API is not supported, but it's planned to be added for the release of archival.
