Project/Task Approval Notifications
We've been having a problem with our team not attending to approval requests. In looking into why, we realized that the email notification does not call out 'Approval Needed' or requested, it just lists the project/task name.
It would be incredibly helpful if it was populated in the subject line, as well as highlighted in the body of the email somewhere. In our exploration, it was buried down in the email and can easily be overlooked as just 'another update'.
With so many email notifications, calling attention to the approvals would definitely help expedite the approval process and avoid unnecessary bottlenecks.
It would also be helpful to call it out in your Wrike inbox as well. Right now it just says, "Person X added you as an approver". Making it more of a 'Your approval is needed' type of message would be super helpful.
Thank you for sharing your feedback Samantha Babcock! I'm passing it on to the Product team 👍

I cannot like this task request enough. The email I received about the approval was simply "[someone else] added [me] to approval"
There is no callout of the approval description outside what is in the project history blurb, and no real call to action. Ideally, when an approval is sent, it should be actionable from the email. The person would see something like this:
[Person name] invited you to approve [Task/Project name] (this should also be the title of the email)
Approval Description: "[Whatever the approval description text is]"
Any attachments would be attached to the email, and when they click either Approve or Reject, it would update on the Wrike task or project. An email should be sent to the person who requested the approval as well as all approvers when the approval process is completed.
Thank you for keeping our feedback in mind as you continue to develop the platform!
Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback here Grant Peterson! 🙌 Please make sure to upvote Samantha's original suggestion at the top of this page if you haven't yet 👍

We are having the same problem. No one is attending to these requests. I added myself as an approver just to see what kind of notification I would get and nothing shows up in my inbox.
Hi Tracy Alvarez, thanks for adding your use case here and sharing your feedback. I've passed it on to our Product team 👍🏼

Has there been any updates on this issue - there are threads back form 2018 bringing up concerns about this request.
Hi Jordon Lock, thanks for checking in here and welcome to the Community 🙂
The votes for this request are on the lower side, which means there's less priority attached to this request, this is why it has not been taken into work so far. You can see more on how we work with Product feedback in this Community post. Having said that, we have passed on your interest in this 👍
If there'a anything else we can help with here, please don't hesitate to ask.
