[Status: Launched 🚀] Mass update for custom field

This is a HUGE need of ours. We wasted HOURS over the past few weeks due to having furloughed employees and a need for some advanced reporting. Please make this a priority project!

I don't know if this thread is still followed up but I try my luck.

The released feature is very useful but to me it is not a mass editing feature. Mass editing is editing several and often a large amount AT THE SAME TIME. In this case the editing is made line by line but in a very fast manner.

In my point of view the main difference is highlighted when you have a huge and complex project with hundreds of lines (tasks/subtasks).

A real mass editing feature on custom field would be like what is it possible to do with "standard" fields which is for example

1 - apply a filter

2 - Click on select all (boxes are checked only on relevant task)

3 - Edit the custom field value

4 - Modification is applied at the same time on all the selected lines  

This would be also a useful feature 

Agreed Constant Biblocque. They have not launched mass editing of a custom field.
