[Status: Launched 🚀] @mention all in task / project
ЗавершеноHello,
I understand that Wrike offers the ability to @mention individuals, my team, or specific user groups but it would be GREAT if product support would consider allowing @mention to ALL in the task / project.
We use Slack for day-to-day general communications and have become very familiar and fond of the @channel feature which notifies everyone on the specific channel. This would be great for Wrike when there are many users on a task and you wouldn't need to @mention each one individually.
Thanks for your consideration!
Jason
Hi Jason, thank you for sharing this! I think all communication-related feedback is really interesting, and @channel/@here mentions are definitely useful in certain cases. Something I wanted to clarify is who exactly would be a part of @all - would that be all assignees, all followers, or everyone shared on the task?
Sometimes we like to survey our entire company and @companyname would be great
To answer ^Anastasia, for me it would be useful to @ message everyone who shares a task for folder. For instance, I want to reorganize and rename folders in our Wrike instance. Using one @ for everyone who shares a folder would be an easy way for me to notify them of changes or ask for their input.
Anastasia,
The other suggestions here are great. From my request, I think it would be great if you @mention @task, @everyone it would @mention everyone involved on the task or project. Thanks
Hi all, thanks for the additional info! Always helpful to learn more about your ideas for feature requests. :)
This would super helpful to have an @followers that would trigger all followers on a task or @taskfollowers or @projectfollowers to get respective notifications. We would find it most useful to have at least on the task level.
Most people in our org rely on @mention notifications that come to their Wrike inbox to manage communications rather than email notifications. Most people have unchecked most of those options in email settings. It would be much more efficient to be able to @mention followers on a task than having to individually @mention people.
yes agree with Lauren Cooke!
Yes, Task 1 has 10 people. Rather than @mentioning 10 people, we would just @mentionalltask and the 10 people would be notified with the communication
hey Guille! Can you give an example of the actual example of how you do that? I have tried various ways and cannot get it to work! thanks!!
Holy Moly would the @task, @mentionalltask, feature be helpful.
One task may have 2 to 10 team members following or assigned to various subtasks. But the ability to quickly ping all concerned parties on a task would be great. In Slack it is @channel, to all people privy or shared to a specific communication channel. In this case @followers, or @task would be great.
Thank you for all others who have asked for this. I truly hope Wrike can make this feature happen.
Request update: Hi everyone! We recently added the ability to @mention assignees and followers in tasks. I think this helps resolve the feedback requested here 🙌
Any questions, let me know!
Yesssss!
Found this thread and the new features of @mention assignees and followers is great. However, we often will have a task that has a couple of reviewers. We will @mention the reviewers and usually add a couple of additional users as FYI. They are not typically followers of the task. We would love to have the ability to have REPLY ALL that includes all the @mentioned people in the message. Is this possible?
Unless there is another way to "force" followers... Is there a way that the task creator can push following? If this is possible we wouldnt need the reply all.
