[Status: Launched 🚀] New Wrike Party Themes

Hi Amanda, thanks for sharing this! I'm really happy to hear you're enjoying the themes (I'm a fan of them too). I'd love to hear the ideas you and other Community members have about new options!

I like the sound of this. Where can I access the Party Themes?

Hi Rob! Party Themes can be enabled from Wrike Labs - just scroll down to this feature and choose between the Legendary Leopard and Retro Safari theme. :)

None of us even knew Wrike Labs existed, thanks for sharing the link. Party Themes definitely adds some color but I would love a couple more options.

Cool option. In the new version there are some changes in the background color of Navigation and Top panel.
Could you add previous more neutral gray theme in Party Themes? And maybe more themes :). 

Hi Vadich, thanks for commenting here! The Graphite (Standard) gray theme can also be selected from Wrike Labs, it's right next to the Party Themes in case you choose to revert to the more neutral option. The updated Navigation Panel comes with this gray theme by default, so there shouldn't be any problems enabling it. Please let me know if there's any trouble finding this option!

It looks like the party themes are based on the new Wrike layout that was deployed (to us anyways) a week or so ago. My team called out the new layout and it was what mine already looked like when I applied the theme in the beginning of this month.

Yes, I agree. It's nice to have a bit of color than the standard gray but I don't really need purple zebra or leopard...

Hi everyone, thanks for commenting here! @Vadich, I see what you mean know, thanks for clarifying. You're right, the colors were slightly tweaked for the Updated Naviagtion Panel, while retaining the original color scheme. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this!

@Dientje and @Rob, thank you for the suggestion, it's a request I've heard before and I'll definitely be sending other Community members who support the idea to upvote this thread.

I'd like to see more options that are more like gradients and soft lines, the sharp contrast of the animal print lines makes it harder to read the text

First, allow me to note that I've truly appreciated WRIKE Project Management for College Students and it has assisted me in accomplishing many of my Graduate Assignments; incidentally, lately I've found myself getting quite bored when working through my desktop layout ... especially, the dull colors of grey and green which has caused me to drift away from following through on my assignments projected on WRIKE. I'm requesting and suggesting some customer customizations that allows creativity in designing a personal desktop that has the propensity of stimulating and motivating college students to engage and approach their projects with purpose and intensity.  While WRIKE Project Manager has a number of great features, it could be more effective if it had customizable features that promoted inspiration, engagement, and fun to the daily tedious project tasks which many a time are not that welcoming. Tell me what do you think about this idea.

@Mercury, thanks for your elaborate feedback. It's certainly important for the UX to be engaging. Customization will certainly allow users to color their workspace in the most inspiring options. Love the Party Themes and like many above, would love more options. Could do lots of things - nature based, graphic based, shapes, colors....the list could go on and on!!

I agree with the general consensus that there should be more options!

Like the idea, just not an animal print fan. 

I like the idea of adding some color but find the animal prints distracting (and like Shaun, am not an animal print fan!)

Having more standard-color options would be fantastic! I'd love to have a Wrike Light theme with light blue and white as the main colors - would make it easier to work with rather than a dark theme IMO.

these all suck. let us do our own backgrounds.

Love the idea of being able to personalise my Wrike screen but agree with some other comments need less animal print and maybe some lighter colour themes

Other options that would be great can just be new solid colors besides graphite. Im a designer and I would love to see Purple, Teal, Salmon, Lime and Citrus! :). Other great pattern ideas could be light slanted stripes and slight gradients!

I would like themes that change the white parts to darker colors for days I'm having a headache and I can't stand looking at bright white!

I really hope they will add some more Themes or color options for the background. The color that we are adding to our folders are not so clear to see, because of the default dark blue'ish color!

I think it's about time for a new light and fresh color, don't you think? You had this color for too long! :)

Here's another vote for more theme options, updated colors, ability to use own image for background, etc. Unfortunately, I enabled the purple Retro theme and now it looks like Party Themes is disabled so I can't go back to the plain grey -- aarg!

Let us upload our own themes and share with our team

Also like the idea of a color picker for users that prefer a solid color or gradients

@Michael You should be able to switch back to the regular non-party themes background from Wrike Labs. It sounds like something might be going on, I'm creating a Suppor Ticket for you so we can help figure things out!
