[Duplicate] Ability to create a dashboard widget that filters by projects AND tasks

I would like to create a widget where I can filter it by projects I'm an owner of, then filter it even further by tasks that are assigned to other people (and not me). This doesn't seem to be an option right now.

Hi Sean! This thread is about a similar request for a Dashboard widget that groups items together by Projects, and it is currently not planned by our Product team. This doesn't mean it will never be implemented though, so I recommend adding your voice to that thread so as to keep up to speed on any developments. I've also marked your thread as "Duplicate" so that other members of the Community can find both threads easily.

If you have any questions let me know! 😊

I would like to customize dashboard based on the projects and individual employees. Please let me know how to do it?

Hi Praju Vijay, welcome to the Community! You can create a Project Widget and filter by project owner or by author:

I'm creating a dashboard that needs to include a specific folder contained within each project of a workspace. I'd like to display all tasks from these folders and then enable filtering by project. Unfortunately, this functionality doesn't appear to be available yet (or I can't find how to do it).

Hi Jessica Leon 🙋‍♂️ thanks for reaching out. We have released new filters for Dashboards that can be enabled from Wrike Labs. Among these, there is now an option to filter by "Name".

For example:

I have selected my data source as "Test Project 1" and "Test Project 2" (both from the same workspace). Within these projects, there are folders named "QRS" and "TUV" which each contain nested projects— "QRS 1 Project" in the QRS folder and "TUV 2 Project" in the TUV folder. I can then filter by "Name" to display the relevant projects.

I hope I understood your question correctly and that this is useful. If you'd like explore if there are any other workaround, please feel free to get in touch with our Support Team

Thanks!
