Storage Limits
As an Admin of the account not the Owner, but the other Admin, i need to see how much storage we have used, it seems a bit ridiculous to have to go to my Boss and ask how much storage we have used. That is why he made me the Admin was to keep track of all of the information.
I also need to increase space to upload and want to know when that space will open up after having deleted a number of items.
Has anyone ever seen Wrike respond to anything with "Thanks for the feedback! I'll pass it on!"? Has any single problem with Wrike ever been solved? It seems the product developers charge on with useless updates based on whatever it is that tickles their fancy like new views, but then important and urgent (and frankly...SIMPLE) updates like "Let this type of user look at this very important piece of information" goes YEARS without being addressed. It's absolutely laughable and we've actively been looking for other management software because of Wrike's refusal to do....ANYTHING.
Kacey Spadafora have you talked to your Account Manager? Usually they're the ones who can help eith this issue.
Hi Kacey Spadafora, welcome to the forums!
I understand your disappointment that this suggestion to enable Account admins to view storage info has not been implemented yet. Allow me to provide you with further insights into how our forum operates to give you more information.
The forum operates on the basis of votes and statuses, but it's important to note that Wrike cannot guarantee the implementation of all or even the majority of suggestions. While our Product team would love to work on many of the fantastic suggestions shared by our users, it is not always feasible. There are instances where user suggestions may clash with the needs of others, or implementing new functionality may require resources that are currently unavailable. Moreover, there are ideas and enhancements in our pipeline that have not yet been posted, but are known to contribute to the product's evolution.
That being said, we genuinely value all the feedback we receive, and this is precisely why we have this forum and the aforementioned processes. We diligently track and report on all data, including requesting status updates. Your ideas and concerns are regularly communicated and discussed with the Product Managers at Wrike.
Our team strives to allocate resources to customer-generated suggestions. As an example, you can refer to this post where we highlight some of the suggestions generated by the community that were implemented last year. At the start of each year, we create wrap-up posts to showcase all the user ideas that have been incorporated.
It would be great if this particular suggestion gained more popularity in the Community. Votes are important as it helps our team gauge the popularity of different suggestions here. And once there are 60 votes for the main suggestion above, we'll be adding one of our Product statuses to it 👍
I hope this offers you a clearer understanding of how we engage with feedback from the Community. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Apparently, we just ran out of storage space. No one on our team — admins and owner, included — received any warning that this cap was approaching. This must be addressed promptly, so this doesn't keep happening to businesses. We're at a complete standstill until we mitigate the issue.
Hi June Dzialo, thank you for your comment, I've shared your feedback with our Support Team. I'm sorry to hear this is causing inconveniences to your team, I can see that our Support Team is assisting you with this situation. Please, let us know if there is anything else we can help with or if you have any additional questions.
I still haven't seen a response to my earlier post on getting any tools to help comb through attachments by type, location, size, etc. or better yet replacing with duplicates with permalinks. We do not need to go through the approaching 1TB of files we have.
Hi Richard Herzog, thank you for your comment. I can see that your previous message has been replied by our Support Team and I'm sorry to learn that the available options don't meet your expectations. I've passed your case on to our Product Development Team.
In case you haven't already, may I please ask you to create a separate Product Feedback post so that other users can easily find your suggestion and upvote it?
Thank you!
Does this still seem to be an issue?!
I can't see actual use of storage and after deleting it does not seem to clear up...
Hi Ronen Bekerman, I left you a reply about this in this thread 👍
Hi,
I don't see any answer in the questions and issues regarding this thread. Can anyone share how you manage your full storage?
Thank you so much!
Hi Desiree Ligtas, thank you for your comment. May I kindly ask you to specify what is your question about storage? Account owners can check the storage available in Settings > Account management > Subscription. Is this what you were looking for?
Adding comment to try to get more votes for this desperately needed feature.
Have had Wrike for 5 years now and just now hit a storage issue. There's no way for me to be able to see how much storage we even have? I am guessing from this thread, the email went to my boss and I have no way of seeing or knowing...
Hey folks, please let me know if you'd like me to raise this with our Support team for you!

Yes. For most organizations, the "owner" of Wrike is usually someone who doesn't administer the system. Admins need a way to view storage.
Lisa, Yes, please, as this is a huge issue for many of us. I think many of us are in the same boat, too, where I am the primary person in charge of Wrike; however, my supervisor is the account owner. I have no access to self-monitor the storage limits, and if they received any notifications as we approached our limit, I was not made aware. This left us scrambling once we went over our limit.
I echo these statements as well. I have as much access as the Owner could give me with the exception of being the Owner. They should allow some sort of Super Admin with all abilities so we would not run into this issue.
Yes please Lisa!
Greg Hao June Dzialo Laura Kruszewski Done 👍 Someone from the Support team will be reaching out to you.

Thanks Lisa! Slightly off-topic but are you guys thinking about adjusting the threshold for when votes will trigger a response? It seems like many issues have difficulty attracting the necessary votes yet Wrike, generally speaking, doesn't really direct its users to the community. I only found out about it as an off-handed comment from my account manager when we were talking about something else.
Hello everyone - running out of storage space is the main problem and although it has been mentioned that one can buy more storage, we do not want to upgrade our plan, we just want to pay for more storage - why isn't this an easy option on the subscription section? And the lack of space running out warnings is terrible. Plus, I have found no way to download older projects in a format that we can easily reference later on should the need arise... this seems like a real weakness in Wrike. I hope that our account rep can assist.
Considering the time that has passed with this still being an issue, it seems to be designed this way to push towards plan upgrades. Otherwise, this is a total failure of the product team!
We should be able to clearly see storage usage and which files take up the space based on type/size and projects/tasks.
I don't need Wrike support to send me a list of the top 100 big files upon request.
What happens now is that we use the backup tool to be sure we save all files locally and hope to find a way to use the JSON files should the need arise, or Wrike will finally allow for a two-way street on this thing.
Hi Greg Hao, thank you for bringing this to our attention. At the moment, there are no plans to change the current threshold; however, I understand why it would be beneficial to streamline the current process and I'll share your comment with the team. You can check all the details about how we work with feedback here.
Hello Roger Sherman, welcome to the Community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues when managing your storage. In this case, your account manager should be able to assist; however, if you need any additional help, please let us know. Also, I've passed your feedback on to our relevant team.
Hello Ronen Bekerman, thank you for your thorough comment and for sharing your use case with us. As you might know, the account owner is able to see the remaining storage in Account Management > Subscription. You're right in mentioning that our Support Team can help users identify the largest files in the account, and I understand why users would benefit from accessing this information directly. Please rest assured that your feedback has been noted and that we will keep you informed in case there are any changes implemented.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
How can one free up space if 'Files' view is no longer available after downgrading from Professional subscription?

Is there any update about the storage management in the admin account? It seems this problem exist quite a long time, and there's no update about this yet from the Wrike team. I searched the community about this issue and found the oldest one from 2022.
