External Email Integration
Hello, 90% of our team's communication is external. We are new to Wrike, I noticed that all communication must be done through a separate email client. This is tough for us because others may need to step into a project when someone is away, sick, holidays etc. without the email thread it makes it tough for others to jump in.
Does Wrike expect to include external client email distribution housed inside of Wrike?
Jordan
Hi Jordan, thanks for your post!
I may need some additional information to fully understand how you're using Wrike at the moment to collaborate. The overall aim is to make Wrike the single source of truth so everyone is working in real-time, in the one place, towards achieving the same goal: getting work done! 😀
For example, the comments section can be used to ensure transparent communication about tasks. Using @mention ensures that you can speak directly to teammates about the task at hand, and all dialog about a task is recorded and visible to anyone the task was shared with. It's always preferable to have this information in Wrike rather than recorded in an individual's external emails where no one else can review.
For anyone outside your account that needs to get involved in tasks, you can add them as Collaborators. You can add an unlimited amount of Collaborators to your account and these people will have limited permissions within your Wrike account.
It would be great to hear a use case or example so I have a better idea of how you're currently using Wrike so I can advise further. For now, the below resources might be useful for you to review too.
