[Status: Backburner ⏳] Forms: Section text and image
We have a bunch of questions, and the section header, but I wish I could also place descriptive text or image modules to further explain to the form user what is expected of them.

Hello Tom Lannoy Michelle thank you for your comments. Michelle, please rest assured that we're passing all your feedback on to our Product Team and that we will let you know if there are improvements; our Team is aware of the popularity of this idea 👍
Please, feel free to share any other questions you might have and let us know if there's anything else we could help you with.
Good Afternoon, I am using request forms and need to have an image referenced in the question or description so the users can look at the image and select their answer. Is this available?
Thanks
Hi Gabriel Walsh, thank you for your question. I'm afraid this option is currently not available. We will share your use case with our Product Team and keep you updated in case there are any changes 👍
Please, let us know if you have any other questions 🙂
Another vote for having the ability to add images to Wrike forms. In our case, having thumbnail images on single-answer or multiple-answer questions would be incredibly helpful for people to see what option they're selecting, especially when selecting between certain product or graphic variations. I'm actually surprised this isn't already a feature, as it is very easy to do on Microsoft forms. Our current workaround in Wrike is to link out to an image from the question description, which is very clunky and less than ideal.
Wondering how many Upvotes do we need to make this happen? Looks like it has been a want since at the very least 2017. This would greatly improve our experience integrating forms directly through Wrike with our clients.
I just posted my comment last week and have already had another, unrelated case where images in forms would be a huge benefit. That now requires us to come up with more complicated and time-consuming workarounds that don't easily integrate into our workflow in Wrike.
I am with Nate Jones on this! I first added my use case here in 2021, then commented again with two more new use cases in March of 2024. And this week we found another case where having images embedded in request forms would be amazingly helpful. My team has just implemented the most complex and sophisticated Wrike form we've ever created, in which Customer Service can request new items, revisions to items, or updates to spec sheets for items, as well as escalations to all of the above types of jobs. Being able to include examples of the types of jobs requested would be incredibly helpful. Despite our careful wording in this form, people have still sometimes filled it out wrong because of the similarity of some of these options. An image next to each option would make each choice crystal clear and decrease the number of errors (in the form of accidental subtasks generated, or subtasks not generated that should have been) that we're seeing.

It has been almost a year since I posted my last use case here so I suppose it's time for a new one. Last week I completed the creation of a request form for our Human Resources Dept. Some of the selections in this form might be confusing for our ESL staff. Representational icons could assist in making the form more easily understandable to non-English speakers. Add to that the things I've already requested in my other use cases -- full-sized images of products or designs within form sections; thumbnails of forms or spec sheets next to the questions where they can be requested; color or font samples inside single-select menu lists; and more -- and this possibility of images within request forms easily becomes one of the most powerful options you could offer in Wrike.
I have added my upvote here and also to "Images in Forms" https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360016742354--Status-Backburner-Images-in-forms?page=1#community_comment_34175104892567 and I see that they're both on Backburner status. Is there any word on when this might become a reality?
Thank you again, Michelle, for sharing all the use cases. I checked, and currently this is not planned, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be considered in the future. We’ll keep an eye out for any changes and let you know. I’ve shared your feedback with the Product Manager for now. Thanks so much! 😊
