Description Field Use for File Sharing
Not much to add to this forum but one thing I want to share is the use of the description field. We have found that for versioning and file sharing it's best to utilize the description field. We are a Microsoft based organization so we use SharePoint links for files. We used to try using the SharePoint upload feature but this created issues with PDF's so we switched to using the Description field with links embedded into the text. It has been incredibly helpful for our team.
Yes! We have just started using the Description field much more as well.
We also use SharePoint quite a bit and I like that you can embed SharePoint links to the top of a Space for quick access.
