Report or dashboard of tasks owned in someone elses projects

I am trying to figure out a way to show all tasks assigned to me that are not within a project I own. I have looked at widgets on dashboards and reports but have not yet figured an easy way to generate this. Would love any thoughts or insights!

What would I do? I would probably create a Report that uses the Space as the Data Source. For any task created in the space, with your name tied to it, the report will be able to pull that information.

For my team, we have three folders (Backlog, Active, Archive) - I create my reports at the folder level of active work for specific individuals. If I need a quick glance at Tommy's current workload I review his report.

Thanks Daniel. Would there be a way to exclude tasks that belong to projects the person owns?

If I understand correctly, you don't want to view the other tasks within a person project? If so, just set the assignee filter as yourself (Me), then you would only see your tasks.

Or are you asking that you don't want to view the tasks that you are assigned within a specific project? If that's the case you can probably filter out the Author of those tasks? I don't have experience with that case but if there are custom fields that separate projects out you can use those to your advantage.

Hope some of this is useful!

Here is the scenario, and apologies if this is confusing. For some projects, I may be a resource and only own a task or two within the entire project. For others, I may own the entire project and its tasks. If I look at just a task view in Wrike, I see all tasks, once that I am assigned and are within my project that I own, and ones that may be within other projects where I just own one or two. The problem with that is I want to just see those tasks where I am not the overall owner. Otherwise there is not an easy way (that I can see) the tasks assigned to me. This may be unique to our particular use case in Wrike where people may own whole projects, the tasks within, or just some tasks in someone elses' project.

Another thing that I thought of - have you tried going into the Table View and creating a filter with just your name? You can save this filter so you can toggle between all the tasks vs the tasks that you are assigned to.
