PTO Calendars
Wrike has been a learning curve for myself and team. One of my first projects was to create a PTO request and calendar for my team. This type of calendar view has really helped us stay organized and ensure we don't have too many people out of the office at the same time. This has been extremely beneficial especially now that the whole team is WFH.
Another great feature that helps us with our teams remote collaboration is the live time sharing on tasks. We have a team of 3 working remotely from home scheduling tasks to various dates. So the ability to see any new tasks in live time has also been very helpful in ensuring we would not double book one day as we are setting up events.
Great tips Kyrstan Mckay, thank you for sharing! We do have a similar set up for our Community team as well 👀
We also use PTO calendars and can toggle teams off that do not affect our work.
Additionally, we have set up calendars that show current and upcoming projects so that team members can see what is scheduled for the day/week/month. This gives the manager the ability to view at a glance and allows them to see projects at risk.
That's interesting Ron Licata! Do you use functionality like Project Health for risks?

Hello, has anyone come across a scenario that an "approval" workflow can still be assigned to a user that has the Wrike calendar blocked off as PTO?
Welcome to the Community Andrew Gomez 👋 Apologies for the late reply! I can see you've already discussed this with our Support team. Please feel free to post your suggestion in our Product Feedback forum 🙂 Here's the post that explains how that forum works.

Lisa thanks for bringing up Project Health. It can act as another layer of truth/follow up.
