How to make a standard workflow in personal space in New Experience

Hi, 

no other question. It is simply not possible in the New experience yet and the tip was to change back to go back to classic UI, change it and go again to New Experience.

For me it would be ok, but as we have other people working with Wrike I really do not like to let everybody do this for and back. So unfortunately not so nice.

@... you wanted to move it to product feedback.I still see it in How to section.

As you will turn of the classi UI in some time I think it will get important.

Hi Jean-Pierre Picard, thank you for posting. It's currently not possible to assign a default workflow for the Personal Space though you can switch to any custom workflows using right-click and Mark As > Workflow and select the custom workflow you'd like to use or the mass edit option. We'll be sure to let you know if there are any changes👍🏼

Thanks. This is massively annoying, as I have a workflow that was assigned to my personal space in the previous UI, and now I am stuck with it. I have to nuke my space and create a new one I guess? Changing it every time just adds way too much friction.

We found a workaround by creating a new Automation. 

Here is the setup of the New rule that the user needs to create 

1. Apply to tasks in 'Personal space'
2. Trigger 'new task is created'
3. Action 'change task status to' > select the desired workflow

Glad I stumbled upon this! Someone on my team just asked me how to change the default workflow of their Personal space to match the custom workflow for our Marketing space. She's not an admin so she can't set up an automation for herself and I checked and didn't see a way I could set up an automation for her personal space.

Use case: She's the marketing director and sometimes works on tasks in her Personal space but will push them into the Marketing space for someone else or the team to work on. It's manual effort for her to change the workflow each time so the tasks show up on the team's kanban board.

My workaround was to have her create a private space for herself and use THAT as her Personal space instead, that way she can change the default workflows and other functionality because that's what I did for myself earlier this year. I also use my space as a sandbox for testing new features or structure/process changes before I launch them for teams. :) 

Hi Daisy Hibbard I do not think that Wrike will ever solve this bug. For me it is even more trouble, as I chenged the workflow (it was possible some time ago) and now I am stucked to this user defined workflow. As it is the workflow we are using in one of our main working spaces I can even not change it or even delete it. So for me the personal space is total useless since some years.

So really bad that Wrike made a feature not usable for me just by not thinking and not reacting on my requests.

Sven Passinger Not sure if this is a helpful workaround for you, but I just discovered that if you add a new folder OR project to your personal space, it'll give you the option to change the default workflow for any TASKS created within it! See highlighted location on my screenshot:
