Widgets with notes
We'd like the ability to add a widget that is a freeform text field. The use case here is to provide minor notes about what's displayed in the dashboard. It would streamline communications for a team that has a variety of stakeholders using the same dashboards.
I couldn't find any other requests for something like this, so I'm hoping others will vote for this if they might find the same useful!

Lisa Hi Lisa. I'm coming across the same situation where a widget like this would be very very useful - a free text area to leave quick notes for others using the same dashboard.
Was this ever implemented or is there any existing similar solution?

The only solution I had was to simply talk about the status/details in a meeting or presentation outside Wrike, which is not a useful workaround.

It doesn't look like this suggestion has gotten much attention recently, but it seems like the addition of a freeform note section would be a step towards a more holistic productivity tool for Wrike. I was hoping to use Wrike as a productivity journal that would tie to all the useful task-management tools that Wrike offers, but I'm still relying on other note apps, sticky notes and notebooks.
It could be a simple text widget, or a whole new dashboard format where progress is tracked day to day. The end goal being an easily navigable log of project milestones and professional goals accompanied by thoughts on lessons-learned or noteworthy conversations with co-workers.

Have you considered using tasks for notes, then put them in the same folder or space, and then create a dashboard widget that would show all tasks from that folder or space? Could that help with organising your notes? Please let me know.

Having the ability to explain contents of a dashboard and provide an overview in text format (and even better, with an image upload) would enable us to make the dashboards accessible to a broader audience for review. Hi Lisa, I have looked into something like that, but it ends up doubling the work needed while creating the task list. Adding notes to a task under the comment section, is as close as I can get without creating extra tasks, but these are just visible as sub-items that are only found when opening each task. Ideally a note is something that could be highlighted at the dashboard level, perhaps as a pop-up/hovering light-box summary that appears over tasks.

Hello wrike product team, It would be great to add a free note widget feature to enable the PMs add relevant notes and show updated reports with all the information in the same space.
Hey Manuel, we plan to first add descriptions with the formatted text to the dashboards. Do you think it would be enough to provide the desired context? If it's not enough could you please let me know why?

Hello Vladimir, is there a way to visualize a concept of the proposal for the formatted text in dashboards?
Our main goal is to have a space where we can show a quick summary of our projects including relevant notes.
Thanks Manuel! Would something like a dashboard description be enough for your needs? Where do those actions/comments come from? Copied from tasks/projects or simply written down by dashboard author?

I would really love a place to add notes as well. One of the ways my team uses dashboards is to walk through our incoming work requests and assign them. The dashboard is incomplete without the ability to write something like "assign all AI task to Lexi" or "Mark is out until 6/30 don't assign until then" or anything like that so that anyone can do the assigning.
Just adding another vote for a free text box on the new dashboards. Somewhere I can add notes for the team relevant to the dashboards. For example on our billing dashboard a note to say "Don't forget to get a PO for all works at Mirvac" PS loving the new dashboards.

Agree with everyone above. I landed on this article looking for the same exact thing. A freeform notes widget would be great to use in my personal dashboard for notes to myself.
