Need to Create Workload for Multiple Folders/Projects

Why do you limit the folder/project selection to just one? We have team tasks for both Active Clients (Folder) and Internal Company Tasks (Folder). If we can't view a person's total workload on one chart, the value is significantly diminished. We don't want to just include all folders/charts because we have template tasks assigned to the employees that we don't want cluttering up the workload table.

Hi Mark, I agree it would be nice to run the workload view like a report and select from multiple folders.  As a potential workaround, all of our pre-assigned template tasks have a deferred workflow state called "Template".  This prevents them from showing up as active tasks in areas such as Workload view or other task-based reports.  Hope this can be of some help.  If you log multiple folder workload view as a feature request, I'll be sure to thumbs-up.  That would be beneficial to us as well.

I have all of my projects listed under an Umbrella folder. I then click on the umbrella folder (with all projects listed under it) and run my workload view from there. That way you can see a resource's allocation across all projects.
