Workflow suggestion to allow specified folder allocation on assignment of workflow
We do a lot of tasks related to property maintenance and we need to archive these files so that in case of some of the fixed issues coming back we can see what was done previously and that we can restart the issue and so on.
We have over 50 properties that is 50 different archive folders and at the moment we are constantly archiving manually through the search bar which is on average at least a click (to choose search bar) then 3 letters (typing into search bar) plus mouse scroll (to scroll on correct folder) plus click (to pick correct folder) plus click to delete from existing folder process.
We think it would help save time dramatically if we could assign a custom completed task workflow to archive automatically to a specified folder same as you guys allow to do with assignment by status at the moment.
It would help companies that need their info stored not in one archive folder as you guys recommend but in many.
I agree with Zilvinas. It would be awesome for Admins to associate certain Workflows and/or their statuses with specific folders. This would help ensure organizational continuity when a user changes the workflow of a task.
It might also act as a workaround to the feature request noted in this post: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003636685-Request-Forms-Add-task-to-folder-dropdown?page=1#community_comment_360001727913
