Automating Incremental Numbering for Variation Requests Using Jotform & Zapier

In our projects, we manage variation requests through forms, and we needed a way to automatically generate an incremental request number (e.g., RN-001, RN-002, RN-003…) each time the form was filled out and a new task was being created.

To achieve this, we built our forms in Jotform and integrated them with Wrike using Zapier. This setup allows us to fully customize the task creation format while automatically assigning a unique incremental ID to each request. It has streamlined our process and improved tracking efficiency.
