Boost Efficiency with Wrike’s Table View Mass Edit
Wrike's Table View is my go-to for quick, bulk task updates. Instead of editing tasks one by one, I can adjust deadlines, statuses, and assignees all at once, saving time and keeping projects on track.
For example, during quarterly planning, I use mass edit to update multiple tasks instantly no more clicking through each one individually. Whether shifting deadlines or reassigning work, this feature makes project management faster and more efficient. If you're not using it yet, you're missing out!
I love doing this mass edit. However I miss the ability to do this for task names - especially after a revision of the blueprint. ;-)
Hi Christy Flater, we are happy to know that you like the Mass Edit feature in the New Table View and that it has been beneficial for your work 🙂
Hi Raimund Dienst, thanks for adding your comment. I will be forwarding it to the responsible team now. If there are any updates or developments, I will be sure to let you know 👍

Agreed, mass editing is such a poweful feature. I also recognized an important restriction: you can't change status on bulk if you're using a workflow with locked transitions!
Cool news from labs: If activated in Labs one can use a filter on the task name now. If I filter for an outdated tasks name and show no item structure but simple list, I can edit task names easily. It does not allow a full mass edit, but half the way.
1. Filter contains "old name"
2. Change the name to "old name new name"
3. Pull down all changes
4. Filter contains "new name"
5. Change the name to "new name"
6. Pull down all changes
