๐Ÿ“Š Releases - New Options in New Dashboards and Your Experience with Converting Tasks to Projects (04/29/2024)

Feature Updates

We've just introduced new options for custom table widgets in the New Dashboards. Similar to what we have available in the Table view, you can now:
  1. Mass Edit: Make changes to multiple tasks at once directly from your dashboard.
  2. Export to Excel: Quickly export your task lists to Excel for additional analysis or reporting.
  3. Drag-Fill Values: Copy values from one cell to another by dragging, making data entry a breeze.
  4. Create New Items: Add new tasks directly from the dashboard, boosting your productivity.
Please note that because new dashboard widgets support multiple data sources, and when new tasks are created in such widgets, they will be placed under the first data source of a widget.
These options are available in Full Screen view for table widgets and in drill-down views for charts.

Hi Lisa this mass data entry feature youre mentioning still requires manual input right?

Is there a way to set up a customfield that shares its data with the parent item?

Like setting it up like a local variable for within a project? Or do I still need to manually drag and drop the data?

We are a bit cautious about the drag and drop feature as it can go through everything without a failsafe roll back...

Florian Gascho Hi! The mass editing feature that's now available in the new dashboards is the same feature that's available in the Table view, so no changes there. As for values, it's correct, it's only possible to drag-fill manually.

Sรฉbastien Bouillon Thanks for the ideas, I've shared them with the team ๐Ÿค—

Hey Sรฉbastien, what bookmark and form widgets are you talking about? How would they save clicks for you? Can you please elaborate more on this?
