Dashboard Filters that Apply to All Widgets

In new dashboards, we only have the ability to create filters within individual widgets. However, it would be incredibly helpful if we also had the ability to create global filters at the dashboard level that would apply to all widgets within the dashboard. This could help streamline dashboard setup and simplify maintenance. 

For example, consider a dashboard with 10 widgets that all need the same filter applied. If global filters were an option, you could create one dashboard filter that applies to all widgets vs. having to create 10 individual widget filters to get the same results.

Additionally, having the ability to adjust the data source at the dashboard level (vs. only at the widget level) would also be useful.
