New Dashboards, how to OPEN a widget as a list. (Not View.) And multi-select + Assignee?

Hi team,

In the Classic dashboard scenario, we can use the three dots on a widget to OPEN it as a list, that then lets us select multiple tasks and assign them as a group to one person.

The NEW dashboards do offer various list views within the widget, (display mode/view as... ) but when a list is "opened," (the Full Screen button,) how to you select multiple tasks and then assign them to one person, or change the status etc.?

This is a pretty big deal for us.
