Shared File Across Multiple Tasks with Real-Time Updating

I have a marketing budget in excel that is used/edited in 3 different tasks within a massive project.  It would be ideal to:

  • load this file in one of the tasks
  • link it to a many other tasks as necessary
  • enable editing within any of the tasks
  • maintain the updated version and history across all tasks referencing the file

Currently this is not possible which makes managing a complex, fast-paced project challenging to ensure current version across multiple tasks.
