[Status: Launched! 🚀] Change dates in automation

It seems like an obvious choice for automations, change the due date/start date of a task if... Is there a reason why changing dates isn't an option?  I can see how changing dates could mess up dependencies, but there have been several cases where I wanted to use automation to change dates and it isn't available:(
