Custom Item Types - challenged when testing in an isolated space

Hi

I'm currently working on an isolated project in a private space focused on "rebuilding" our Wrike setup.

In order to play around without causing confusion to everyone else, I'm using a private space to try and rebuild a new structure, new items etc.

When I create a space I can see that I can choose which item types should be available, but I'm creating the necessary item types in that space only upon creation, in order to not make them available to the entire account.

The challenge arises when wanting to use either project type or task type I've created - they simply don't become available in my space when creating a new project/task, and it seems as if I can't enable them in the space. Ultimately I'd like to make them the default items in this space, so I can demo the setup to my colleagues.

I'd prefer if I could work around having to create it on account level, create a new "Playground 2" space, and choosing the item types in that proces - does anyone have advice on this matter? 🤓

Hi Maria,
you can "Customize menu" when you create a new item to show the custom item type you want to create.

You cannot define custom item creating project by "+" on sidebar, but you can use forms to create project using blueprints based on Custom Item Type
