Reporting from projects in multiple spaces
I'm looking for ideas on the best way to generate reports from projects across many different spaces. We want departments to be able to have full autonomy over their own projects (and keep them from being changed/edited by those outside the department), but we need to be able to pull reports that are populated by data from all projects in the organization.

Hi Pietro Poli and Elloa Davis - Similarly I'm wondering, if I pull from 2 spaces and an item is in both spaces - will it count that item twice? We're trying to report on the number of tasks finished this year and I'd like to use multiple spaces as my data source, but I worry it will count the items in more than 1 space twice (as it does in table view - the item shows twice). Thanks!

it depends on aggregation you will add to report.
-> If you Group Task list for "Space" and one task is contained in two spaces you will get task repeated in each space and it will count twice.
If you think about this result it's correct because task it's included in each space.
I don't know if there are some workarounds...
why can't i group by SPACE?

It's true that it's not currently possible to group by spaces in reports. I'd definitely advise posting about this separately in our Product Feedback forum and share your use case.
