Status Colors Changed?

I noticed recently that the colors for Status/Workflow items has changed. Is that correct? The new colors are similar but a little stronger or something. I honestly don't care for these colors as much as the previous ones. When I look at calendars, for example, the stronger colors are a bit more in-your-face than previously.

 

Am I correct in that the colors have been updated? Or is there something else happening that makes them look different on my end?

 

Thoughts? Opinions?

I noticed that as well, I miss having red.  I was using it for cancelled tasks, the new orange doesn't stand out as well.

Also why limit it to only 13 colors?  I would love to have a color picker option

Thank you, Lisa.  For the record, I am not a fan. I prefer the previous colors.

I don't understand why they were randomly updated.  Once again, Wrike is spending time tweaking colors and not fixing bugs or feature requests. Just leave the colors alone already, or make a real color change in line with what the users really want. I know people have requested more color options, color pickers, etc, but this slight shift of colors without any other change makes no sense to me.

For our use case, it impacts Analyze Boards.  Because Analyze Boards Public Links can't display "Status (colors)" properly (viewers of the public link see the Hex code instead of the color) we have to use the "Status" dimension then color-code it to match the workflow using the Hex colors. 

So now, when Wrike goes and updates all the Status colors we see on workflows, we now have to look up the Hex codes for each of them then manually update all 50+ Analyze boards so that Status matches the new colors.

I preferred the old Table View for status as well, in that it was a standard size colored box with the status text next to it. Now the entire status is colored, so it's inconsistent and more, as you say, in your face. Now it's New, In Progress, Canceled, Pending Authorization, or whatever your workflow status may be, all in a colored box, which I find to be annoying. The old colored box with text beside was much easier to read and easy on the eyes.

Same issue here!  the "red" is now the same color as the overdue task color.  This causes confusion, and high blood pressure! 😊
