 Is it possible to apply a customfield to tasks and subtasks only+

Custom Fields are applied to Folders, Projects, tasks, and subtasks by default. You can apply them to Folders, and Projects only and not tasks/subtask but not vice versa. 

Currently the only available options are to apply custom fields to:

  • Folders, projects, taks and subtasks
  • Folders and projects
  • Projects

But maybe this could be a Product Feedback request?

Hi Hilde, thanks for posting! Custom Fields are added to Folders/Projects and are available to add to tasks/subtasks within that Folder/Project.
 
I'd love to hear a little bit more about your workflow and how this fits feature in with your workflow. Looking forward to your reply 👍
 
Also, like Ashlinn kindly pointed out; to provide our Product Team with this suggestion, we would need to move it to Product Feedback section. Jens already posted a very similar post, Custom fields in tasks and subtasks. It would be great if you both could upvote that post so we can keep all feedback in the one place.
