Folllowing List for Post: [Status: Launched! ๐] Feature: Document uploads from SharePoint Online

Even just from the Teams files (SharePoint Site) would be a good start. ย Having Wrike integrated as a tab is great, it would be even better if I could attach files from that team to tasks as well.
Hi Matthew and Ben, thanks for the suggestion!ย
@Matthew welcome to the forums :)
Supporting SharePoint is a must have for enterprise. Having attachments on individual OneDrive, GoogleDrive are lost if an employee leaves our company.
Simply implement an "Attach from SharePoint" selection in the attach menu. Add a SharePoint location field in the Account Manager that would allow the Account Admin to set the SharePoint location for the Team. This issue will be a roadblock to implement Wrike across our organization. I will be looking for a path to this being implemented as a gate to purchasing licensing.
Can you provide an update on when/if this would be available?
Hi Rick, thank you for adding your comment here! I don't have any updates to share at the moment, but I think the point you brought up about employees leaving is great, and it's something I'll make sure to share with the Product Team in charge of this experience.
Really looking forward to be able to upload files from Team sites in O365. Please look into escalating the development of this feature.
I'm evaluating Wrike currently and also want this feature.
I agree with others that OneDrive is for personal files, but MS Teams files or SharePoint files are for groups and projects. This is critical to make sure files aren't lost when employees leave.
yes I agree!ย Wrike looks like it would work well except for the lack of Sharepoint support!
ย
Please let us know if you are considering this feature in the very near future!
Hi everyone, direct attachment upload from Sharepoint into Wrike isn't currently on the roadmap, but we will make sure to let you know if that changes.ย
Happy New Year.
Yes, please give STRONG consideration to prioritising this SharePoint request on your agile team's product backlog.
Integration with O365 definitely requires ability to attach files hosted in Sharepoint: connecting Wrike in Teams is useless without this feature as we cannot organize documents in relation with the project in a structured way.
Agree, not having sharepoint support and ability to integrate Teams will be our deciding factor for renewal. Without this support we will drop Wrike.ย
Adding this feature would be grand. We currently just add a link to SharePoint using ap custom field.
It would be a huge help for our team to be able to load from Sharepoint. +1 for me please.
ย
Hi guys, thanks for the update. Sharepoint is something our Product Team discuss internally but it's not yet on the roadmap ahead of other developments. If and when this changes I'll be sure to update you here.
The votes andย posts on this thread add a lot of value to the Product Team's discussions,ย thankย you!
Hi,
I too would like to see Wrike integrated with SharePoint.
My organization (University) is currently implementing SharePoint and we will eventually, though it will take some time to build in customizations, migrate from Wrike to MS Proj/SharePoint unless we can get both of the following:
These two seem to be my only hope at justifying Wrike right now so I'd like to see something regarding SharePoint on the RoadMap. Otherwise, we will cutover to MS Proj/SharePoint when the time comes.
I fully support the request for Sharpoint Online integration. We are launching O365 here (worlds biggest reinsurance company)ย and roll-out SharePoint Online in Autumn. We would also appriciate an O365 Groups integration because we do not use O365 Teams.
Yes, please add Sharepoint/Teams capabilities, this will greatly impact the way my team is able to work.
I also agree this would be a great and needed feature!
ย
Adding my vote (I'd add it twice if I could).ย My department (~50 colleagues) manages our documents in SharePoint 365.ย This would be a huge improvement to our Wrike experience.
My teams Wrike license is coming up for renewal. Would like an update from Wrike team on whether you are taking Sharepoony support seriously and have it on your roadmap. My renewal depends on your willingness to meet customers needs.
Hi guys, currently no update here. The conversations continue internally and is currently under research. I'll post back here when I have some more information ๐
+1 for SharePoint integration. If you use OneDrive through Office 365 (for work) AND using Microsoft Teams (for storing files, which is SharePoint Online behind the scenes), you do get the option of browsing those Team sites and attaching files from there.
Limited SharePoint "integration", but a workaround for some at the moment.

+1 on that.
We plan on using Microsoft Teams soon, which uses Sharepoint for file storage, and this is a real issue right now that we cannot link files from the team's Sharepoint site.
We dont want to use OneDrive to reference files as it's more of a "personnal" solution.
If the person leaves the company and we close his OneDrive account, the links will be broken and the files unaccessible.
My organization is working towards using Sharepoint via Office 365.ย This feature is a necessity...ย Like the poster above we don't want to use OneDrive links.
ย
Thanks!
Our organization is currently ramping up with Sharepoint and this is something that we would really appreciate having added!ย
+1 for sharepoint integration!ย
+1 for SharePoint integration as well!ย ย

Weโre using Wrike to manage automated content maintenance tasks for our CMS (Sharepoint). A SP integration would ice the cake.ย
If using SharePoint to manage docs for an organization allows users to edit those docs and track changes, what benefit do users gain by attaching the doc from SharePoint to WRIKE, where presumably, users will also edit docs and track changes? Why not just add the SharePoint link for the doc to your project or task in WRIKE?ย
If users attach docs from SharePoint to WRIKE you now you have a doc in two locations, that unless WRIKE and SharePoint become so closely integrated that updates are stored in both locations simultaneously, users could have different edits/versions of each doc in each location, correct?ย
I am with an organization this is currently using WRIKE and we are moving to SharePoint, and was quite ready to throw my hat into the "we need to be able to attach docs from SharePoint to WRIKE" arena, but wanted to get clarification around how this will work without users ultimately having different versions of same doc in different locations and then having to end up downloading and saving updated docs from WRIKE back to SharePoint, and making sure any edits done on SharePoint version of docs are not over-written.ย
The point of the Sharepoint integration would be effectively that we can link Sharepoint documents in Wrike, so that the file is still hosted in Sharepoint, but we can interact with it as if it was hosted on Wrike.
Please add this!!
