[Duplicate] Folder/Project/task level specific role/acces for status change, to example complete
Note from Wrike Team: Check out "Setting permissions on who can mark a task or project to COMPLETE" to vote for the original request.
This seems not to be an option today.
I want on folder/project level be able to set restrictions on ho that can complete a task.
In my case, where we have some programers, it is only going to be me, or one other person that can be set, will be able to complete a task. The others (programers in this case), will only be able to move the task around the "ACTIVE" status. That might be from upcomming, To be done, Issues Found, In Production, Ready for testing and so on, in the Active status. Or to move it do Some Deferred, but not even that... So in order to complete a task, i want to have tested and approve the task, and then only the person that have the role, can move the task to complete.
I will see this as a benefit for many types of projects and teams.
One of the reasons is, where team members by accident moves a task to complete without really complete the task. Its by natur humans can do errors, but important to have restrictions on a folder/project or even task level on ho that can do a status change to complete as an example.
Hi Kim, thanks for your feedback. I can understand how adding status permissions would be a helpful feature for Project owners. Currently, all users who share the task can set the status. Our member George raised this idea here too, with his post Setting permissions on who can mark a task or project to COMPLETE. Can you please vote on his request and feel free to comment there if you want to add additional information.
Had a chat with Wrike, and they told there was non post about it. But cool, i had voted, and i hope this will be added soon, as i see this case is old and now 30 votes.
