[Status: Launched! ๐] Freezing the title column in the Table view
Dear Product Team,
After using Wrike for a certain time, I find looking at the table view to be exhausting whenever I have to scroll back left to see the title and then scroll back right to see the data in the field column which is at the end and out of view. But if i were to scroll to the right then I cant see the title anymore and with so many taskย i could have easily confuse the data with the other task that is either on the above or below of the intended task. Refer to the image below:
So I wonder could the product team, freeze the title in the table view so that whenever i scroll to the right to look at the data in the field columns I can still see the title so I could clearly see which data is for which task.ย
Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
Hi Angeline! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this - we're currently working on some improvements to the Table View, so your feedback is definitely timely :) We'll make sure to keep you updated here. In the meantime, I can suggest hiding some of the columns while viewing different aspects of this data, and another option could be to create more granular Reports to save for different scenarios. I do understand that this isn't the solution you're looking for, but hopefully, it helps a bit. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback here and at the perfect time! :)
I too would love to see this feature - we have a lot of custom fields and it would be nice to review them while still being able to see the project title.ย ย

Yes this would be a huge help for us!ย We need to be able to see all the various custom fields we've created the majority of the time but you can so easily get lost when you scroll to right, especially when looking at the top level views of projects/folders.
ย
Thank you for all your help!
Hi - any update on that development? The inability to freeze the right column really makes difficult to see the other fields.....
ย
Thanks,
Marcio
Upvote this.ย
Upvote this, weย use this function for every excel, table view is similar to excel, withoutย Freezing the title column, it waste more time to review from left to right.
agreed!
We definitely want this, when you have a lot of custom fields it can be very hard to use.
Agree, yes pleaseย implement.
In addition to the primary name field - Could you try "Lock" on an additional column and allow scrolling for the remainder of fields? Would that help anyone? This way if you have another crucial field you want immediate access to you can scroll the rest.
Yes - we definitely would like to see this move forward.
Hi Everyone, thanks for your feedback here, our Product team has visibility of this suggestion. I'll make sure to keep you updated so I'll get back to you if/when I have news.ย

Hello, would really appreciate this feature. Thanks!
Any update on this? Imo this is one of the most fundamental and critical functions of a table which sole purpose is to visualize large amounts of data. Without freeze column option table view becomes nearly unusable in so many situations which contradicts one of the few of Wrikeโs biggest strengths which is having such a well formatted table view featuring nested items. Itโs like you guys built a Ferrari without a windshield - looks great but I almost canโt drive it because it doesnโt function well at all when doing what itโs supposed to do best.
Really hope you update it Iโm almost completely off Google sheets and fully on Wrike except for this function and also colored drop down options
This would be huge, my first column is a job name and then I have 20+ other columns, right now I use google sheets to do this and it works fine, but wrike has my latest data per project, so ideally having the first column frozen would help me immenslyย
