Use Cases for Staffing Forecasts & Utilization Analytics Reports
We don't have Wrike Analyze yet - but might be something we have in the near future. I would love to see some example of how other teams are using Analyze for forecasting staffing needs - monthly or quarterly preferred if you have anything to share?
I'm also curious about Wrike Analyze. I know we aren't using it, but seems like it would be useful to get a realistic view of workload.
We also do not use it up to now. Would be also very interested as ressource needs is a very hot topic and we are thinking about programming an external tool. If reporting would work inside Wrike it would be great.
Sherrie Besecker, have you review Wrike Resource? I have Wrike Resource and this allows me to view my Blueprint with resources based by Role. It takes a lot of work to build as you need effort set for each task. This then allows you to create report for workloads across project and groups.
I have not tried to use Wrike Analyze yet, but I too have thought about trying this feature for resourcing.
We don't have Wrike Analyze but it is something that I am interested to learn more. It might be something I can bring to my Manager as they start budget planning in October.
We don't have Wrike Analyze but definitely something I want to know more about and is it something I can cost justify. Looking forward to the webinar!
Looks like this is becoming a hot topic as I have seen several posts about booking, utilization, staffing, etc! We have Wrike Resource, but we are looking for the larger staffing / utilization reporting - not the nitty gritty project resource management side of this!
We are using wrike analyze for more than a month. Overall it is a useful tool. It helped me a lot to monitor the progress of the projects and get people doing their tasks using a custom dashboard. However, on the other hand it lacks for some basic features that are available on other BI systems.
Hi Sherrie,
Have you tried using the Workload chart to look into resource utilisation based on their capacity and availability? In there you can use the backlog box by allocating tasks to job roles, this will allow you to do staffing forecasts based on the workload of current/future projects.
You can also leverage the Workload charts with some customised analytics reports as well and drill into the data by project, user, role, etc.
Cheers,
Ariel
