Wrike Workflow
I'm fairly new to Wrike. I come from a SharePoint background. When I read the word "workflow" task automation immediately comes to my head. I just wanted to clarify, does "Wrike workflow" means that you can just customize the dropdown in the task status for custom statuses or is there actually a task automation piece in the Wrike workflow where you say "if this condition is met, then trigger this action"? I am fairly novice at Wrike but I'm starting to believe that creating a custom workflow in Wrike means "create a custom menu with task/project status that you will manually set" am I right?
Thank you!

Hi David,
Welcome to the community!
You're absolutely right. Workflow is just a custom list of statuses.
There is a new automation piece that is still being built out. So what you'd traditionally refer to as a Workflow is an Automation.
Hope that helps!
Excellent. Thank you! for the quick reply!

Hello David
There are SOME automations from workflows... you can assign the task to someone on status change, you can limit manual transitions between workflow stages - so you can only allow status change from A to B not to C, and you can add an approval step on a workflow status change...
