[Competition] Community Ice-Breaker Challenge - Week 2️⃣
TerminéeWEEK 2️⃣
Hi Community 👋🏻
Hope you enjoyed the first challenge. Congrats to our winner Karen Bullock!
Now, on to week two!
This week we want to ask you the same question we ask our new Black Belts when we do our Community Member Spotlight interviews (see what we mean here and here).
If you had to be a Wrike feature which would you be and why? (Ex. @mentions, Gantt Chart, search, etc)
If you ask me, I'd be the search. As a member of the Community team, I look for ways to help our users, answer their questions, dive deep into our Knowledge Base and Wrike resources to give you the best possible response.
Enter the competition for another chance to win a $50 Amazon voucher by commenting below with your answer 🌟
One winner will be chosen at random, the full T&Cs for today's competition are available here.
I was not expecting this to be the next question ahah!
I'm going to go for Custom Fields - specifically Drop Downs because I usually prefer discrete data, much easier to query.
That one is tough! I think I'd be Blueprints. I enjoy developing the most efficient and complete way to get work done well, and then helping others to succeed using what I've learned. We LOVE the Blueprints feature for standardizing our work, making it easy to initiate new work, and making sure everyone is doing things in a consistent and correct way.
I'd say I'd be a request form. My day-to-day is always gathering information from stakeholders to create new projects and I usually know the right questions to ask to get the answers I need.
I would be a workload chart! I'm invested in making sure our team members' work/life balance is healthy and sustainable. I'm always looking for opportunities to make the distribution of work fair and equitable, while taking into account the real-life constraints on what people can accomplish. We are stronger as a whole when each person is taken care of.
I would be a workflow. Trying to keep things controlled and efficient.
I would be a custom workflow, optimized for approvals. l love getting creative in front of approvers and ready for production! 😀
I would be a Space! My primary job is to organize Projects and Tasks into the appropriate locations, whether it be a specific department OR a specific cross team Project. Everything is in it's proper place.
I would be a form that uses a blueprint. My role includes job intake, collecting the info needed, then presenting the information in a standardized job format for our team - which is where the blueprint with subtasks, tables, etc come in.
I would likely be the API. It's my job to make things work together, and my methods are probably a little opaque to some... 😅
I would be Custom Fields. They are so versatile! I use them on all my projects and tasks to track different stats and data, which are then pulled into reports for different stakeholders. I also use the data from custom fields to make strategic business recommendations on resource utilization and asset value.
I think I would be automation. I'm always project managing, cleaning up tasks after folks, and making sure things are running smoothly.
I would be Blueprints. From the bottom up providing a consistent path for each project and meaningful wording for each task type. Users spend more time on completing their task rather than trying understanding what it means.
I would be a Custom Table View - it's my favorite way of viewing a project or group of projects in a folder. I can check status, adjust the schedule, easily update custom fields, and generally find anything that I need.
Mine is Automation. Makes projects run smoothly!
I'd be a Dashboard. Ready with answers at any given time and able to show you just where you are with whatever you are working on.
I would be the little alerts that popup in your inbox when dependencies have been hit, as I'm always popping up and reminding team members to do something with Wrike!
I would be a request form. They make work easier and all stakeholders get a clear picture of needs at the same time. As an addition, you don't have to search an overflowed email inbox.
Hi Everyone 👋🏽 I think I would be a customized dashboard. I'm responsible for keeping an eye on multiple projects/workstreams, reminding people of deadlines and trying to keep tabs on what's coming up. Each of those things is a good description for some of the dashboard widgets I use everyday.
I'd be the custom email address for Wrike content because I'm always coercing people into using the platform when they'd rather be writing email chains or using other systems! 😂
I'm a huge PROCESS person because it's directly related to quality, which is why I'm a big W Edwards Deming fan. Blueprints (a.k.a. templates) are my thing in Wrike since it enables a complex process to be easily implemented and is very repeatable and trackable. Having a repeatable process ensures quality and minimizes "reinventing the wheel each time". Of course, a good blueprint takes advantage of all the other good features in Wrike like Request Forms, Custom Fields and Gantt Charts. When a Wrike Project is kept current, determining who did what when is an easy task!
This one is easy for me, already done! 😁

I would be a mix of a request form and automation. It is my role to manage the intake for the team but I also make sure things follow a process correctly and smoothly and fill in any gaps where needed. I'm constantly fielding questions about specific elements of a request to get it done.
I'd also be a request form- but probably a request form in how to learn to make a request form! Maybe I'm really a discover course, about request forms. I send people there often.
I would be the blueprints. I'm always pushing for standardized process both at work and home. Sharing blueprints with the team helps everyone know what needs to be done for each type of project.
I'd be the automation generator for sure! But with more granular trigger conditions and actions :)

Let's go with Custom workflow. Because I like to step through tasks methodically
An interesting question 😂
I would be a Dashboard - writing Dashboards to concisely deliver information at different levels of detail is what I do all day every day!
Hi everyone, thank you for taking part, this challenge is now completed. Congrats to our next winner Cody Rogers! We'll be in touch soon Cody 🙂
