New UI on the way?
Hi guys,
@... and Lisa, I wanted to ask if you could shed any insight at all on any new UI improvements on the way. On your marketing site, I continually see this type of screen shown:
or here with a Gantt demo and nice-looking card view I don't have in my account:

Your app I have to say is terrific, too, and I've wondered if any of those UI elements are en route to the desktop site.
I would love to find out if an improved UI is on the way for desktop. The existing UI is a weak point of Wrike. You are teasing other screens in the marketing site, so all the more I'd like to find out if there's a chance to actually see those nice designs in the Wrike desktop app itself!
Counting on some response of substance, you could really make a dissatisfied user potentially convert with a sensible response!
Hi Al Sape! The first screenshot that you posted is showing how the workspace can look like with spaces and space bookmarks. But I would suggest checking out our Wrike Ninja private forum that's available to all Black and Green belts on this Community (you should be able to see it as you have a Green belt 🙂).

Lisa, thank you for responding on this, it's a big item for me as I move forward with Wrike and contemplate if it's best to invest my team's future with you or an alternative. I think the desktop app, while generally feature rich - save some of the big ones that are vigorously requested here in the community! - the UI is not keeping up as years go by. The screenshot I sent is from your Marketing Site and just seems cleaner that what I have in my desktop app:
It took me a second to figure out, but I think the only difference is you guys, in the Marketing Site, are removing the filtering menu above the list. Really makes a difference in the appearance though...
What I really wanted to point out is the iOS apps - I'm an apple user - are outstanding, and have left me wondering for months as to whether that's coming to the desktop App. As I've stated in the community, things like List and Board view I think are really the weakest parts of your UI, but unfortunately the most important for me. My team was active in Wrike for about 3 months after we got our license, but the way the List view didn't maintain the hierarchies when you clicked into child projects or folders really confused us. I have thought that if you could implement some of the excellent UI in the iOS app, and build out some columns in List view, and also allow for nesting on one page, you could really rectify that. With the Boards, first and foremost the cards just need more info - like showing subtasks separately which I'm sure is something you are getting tired of responding too as it's a huge topic I won't bother linking here!
Thank you for the heads up with the Ninja area, I checked it out and very glad you are letting Green Belts in! I had thought you needed to be a Black Belt to get in there. At one time I aspired to be a Black Belt, but I am probably on your Black List as this point :).
This is very exciting. I'm going to sign up to see the beta and fingers crossed that a good deal of what I'm missing in the UI will be solved with this!
Hi Al Sape! I'm very excited that you're interested! 🙂
Just to set your expectations correctly, with the New Navigation, we aim to clean up the workspace, make it easier to switch between large amounts of projects and spaces, and provide the ability to customize the home page.
P.S. We don't have any kind of black lists, and I'm very happy to see you here on the Community!
