Table View: adding Dependancies

Dependencies are shown in the Gantt Chart View: on its table and timeline portions. Table View doesn't show task dependencies.

Svetlana, that's correct, dependencies are only shown on the Gantt Chart's table and timeline. That said, you can still create a custom column in the Table View and call it "Dependent task", for example, but then you'll need to add them manually. I'm very interested to hear how you are planning to use dependencies and why the Gantt Chart's table seems not to be enough?

HI Lisa,

Sometimes the Gantt view might be overwhelming to some so i walk them through the list on the table. The way I build my timelines are in order of tasks and labeled as such, 01, 02, A, B, etc... so to some, seeing a list is easier to follow than a bunch of lines and connections...It's just another way of me walking people through the timeline. Ideally, if i add this column in table, it would be great if it can auto populate, just a request. I might be the only one though :)
