[From Wrike] Happy New Year Everyone ๐
We would like take a moment to wish all of you a very Happy New Year from everybody at Wrike!ย ๐
Myself, Lisa and Stephanie from the Community Team wanted to also thank you specifically forย being a member of the Community. Whether you're new to Wrike or a seasoned expert, the input you create here makes this a place for sharing, learning and suggesting new ideas. It simply wouldn'tย exist without you, thank you!ย
Iย wanted to share just a few of the many highlights fromย the Community in 2018.
The Numbers Donโt Lieย ๐
In 2018 we saw an increase in the number of people visiting Community each week. Throughout last year we saw the highest ever volume of best practices shared, bespoke processes that work for all teams, interesting Wrike-hacks (weโve neverย would have thought of) and some great advice on how to onboard new teams and members. Look around the forums, there's valuable information everywhere!
Keeping up with the Developersย ๐ง
Weโve seen hundreds of members following the Weekly Releases section to keep up to date on whatโs new in Wrike. Keeping up with new Wrike features andย enhancements helps you stay ahead of the game. If you have not yet followed the Weekly Releases forum, join the 600 plus members who do byย clicking 'Follow' at the top of this page.
Context Is Everythingย ๐ฌ
In 2018 we also began to see thatย people in similiar roles and industries that wanted to engage withย each other - it makes perfect sense. We added the ability for you to update your profile page, with some custom text. Now you can add a little about your industry and team, so others have more context, to not only how youโre using Wrike, but for what purpose, team, industry, and end-goals.
New Year, New Spacesย ๐บ๐๐ป
Nearing the end of 2018, we wanted toย launch new spaces so teams can have conversations about Wrike in-line with their type of teams. The Marketing Teams forum is the first step in that direction. A first of it's kind for Wrike's Community, this space is where marketing members can speak to each other directly. We'll look to bring more specific team spaces in 2019. Watch this space ๐
We also launched a Wrike Onboarding section. We all know helping your team or new team member adopt a new software is a challenge. This new forum is a great resource you can use to help new members or teams onboard successfully, or where your new team members can chat, ask questions or share their onboarding stories. There is also some really amazing content we've have shared with you there which was created by our Wrike experts. Check it out!
Your Ideas That Shape the Productย ๐ก
In 2018, we worked with our Product Team to develop an internal process where the Product Managers here at Wrike provide more context around the ideas posted to Community's Product Feedback forum and we now add Statuses to these posts so we can keep you in the loop on its development. More on this here.
Last year, we added โLaunched ๐ โ Status to over 50 ideas posted to Product Feedback section - thank you for these ideas, votes, use cases. This means you are helping us shape the future of the product so we can help you achieve your work management goals. We also updated the statuses on over a hundred more ideas that reached the voting threshold.
ย
The above only briefly outlines a few highlights from 2018, there was many more and I need to reiterate that without you coming here, seeing the value in Community and opportunity that comes with sharing ideas, none of this would be possible.
Thank you again and, from everyone at Wrike, we wish you all the best for 2019!
See you around the forumsย soon ๐
