Schedule by Project

In the new resource management, Is there a way to set a resource's working schedule (days per week, #hours per day, weekend work) by project rather than set by task?

Hi Suzanne and thanks for posting 🙂
In the new Workload Charts effort can only be applied to Tasks - more on this on the Help Center Page Task Effort. This is designed for more precise planning and effort estimation.
Could you please provide a use case for a need of a Project effort? Because, as I see it, even if one Project is assigned to one person, it is still likely to contain several Tasks, and each Task usually requires different effort.
Any further questions - I'll be happy to discuss 🙂

I already provided the case, "days per week, #hours per day, weekend work". This can vary by project. We have some projects that allow for working on weekends or have longer work days (10 vs 8) We also have vendors on some projects that have 24/7 production hours. It would be nice if I could set the above mentioned items by project rather than individual task. I don't really care if it is in the resource module or the base software.

Suzanne, thanks for clarification! As I mentioned earlier, for now there's no such option. What do you think about adding this post to the Product Feedback section?  It'll be highlighted with our Product Team in that section 👍
