Adding another vote for Print or Export to PDF!
Will there be a feature to download or share this to external users - if you create this you will make my year!!
@trish How are you doing the Out Of Office calendar? We're experimenting with a calendar like this, but the only way we've figured out to do it so far is to have our Wrike admin add all of the "OOO" dates. Is there a way for each person to had her/his own?
@david We created a basic request form titled Out of Office. When someone fills out the request we have it designated to auto populate as a task and be placed directly into our new requests folder. We know that we can have the task auto populate into our Out of Office folder specifically but for us it's easier when ALL new requests come into one place and then we move them to their appropriate folder all at once instead of having to look in all of our folders to see if there is something new.
When we are reviewing and assigning new requests we assign a specific workflow we created just for Out of Office requests (so we can add a specific color to the type of request for easy review on the calendar) then move the Out of Office requests into a folder we created called Out of Office Calendar. Then we created a smart calendar that pulls tasks from this specific folder. Every time a new request is added it just auto populates on the calendar.
I hope this helps!
@Trish Thank you! That's a really clever approach. I'll share this with my team.
@David, hope it works as well for your team as it does for ours! With the request form it saves so much time. All we have to do is adjust the workflow and move the request. Takes all of 10 seconds :)
** At Wrike's Stephen O's suggestion, I am reposting my comment below from another thread ***
I have 2 requests:
I have a lot of people who need to be able to see the Smart Calendars, but who do not need to see the project details inside Wrike. They are not Wrike users; Instead they are consumers of the information on the calendars.
I appreciate how updates are being made so frequently to the software. I hope that these 2 can be added soon. Thanks!
Would love to share Calendars with Collaborators!!!!
The calendar feature is one of my favorite features in Wrike. It allows us to keep an eye on what we have scheduled for each of our locations, and also allows is to view all activities in one place. My one suggestion would be to create a workaround so that all calendars can be shared with team members at once. We are an organization with 25 locations so we have quite a few calendars. Sharing them when we invite new team members to Wrike can become a bit tedious.
Thank you!
I am still investigating what I can do with it.
@Stephen I'm glad that this is now live! I do have a couple of additional questions though 🙂
Will we ever get to a point where we can add collaborators to view calendars?I noticed quite a few of us were hoping for this feature and I haven't seen any info on whether or not this is going to be implemented. As well as having a feature that allows you to print the calendar.
And I noticed that my smart calendar is not showing any of the activity I have scheduled beyond September. I have quite a few things scheduled for Oct-Dec and they just aren't showing up yet. Does the calendar only show activity within a certain time frame?
I love the calendars but wish that there was a way to color code tasks from different projects. For example, we have projects for webinars, tradeshows, and digital ads. We need certain milestones in each of these projects to be displayed to external teams. We have created a custom column (checkbox) to display these in an external calendar. However, it's hard to tell what the tasks are. We want to color code them so all tasks from the webinars project would be one color, and all tasks from the tradeshows project would be another.
This would be the last piece in getting our whole company onboard with Wrike calendars! Well, that and multiple calendar owners.
I would also love to see the feature Amy mentioned above. We have a variety of task related to a project and instead of being able to color the projects, it would be great to be able to color the tasks so I can see similar task all grouped together. This would also help a ton in our dashboards as well so if I wanted to work on a variety of similar task at one time, I could view them by a certain color that I determined and not by status or folder. This would be extremely helpful to our organization and how we use Wrike all around and within calendars.
When will the calendar be available on the mobile application? This would be very helpful for our team who is mobile to see this view to know quickly where they need to go to next as they travel a lot. Currently, we have to revert the team back to an outlook calendar which is not optimal given the great functionality of the calendar.
Brittney, I believe they just recently added calendar functionality. I remember seeing a notification about it yesterday and I am seeing it in the app as of this morning! :)
Where is it located at? I am not seeing it on the iOS version. Do you have an android?
In my app, I clicked Menu in the bottom right-hand corner and selected Calendars. Then I clicked the settings button in the top right-hand corner and selected the calendars I wanted to see!
Thanks Anna, it must be for android only as I am not seeing that in iOS.
Brittney, I too just tried to find it with my iOS phone and do not have any option to view my calendar in the app.
Hopefully since Android now has it, iOS is not far behind! 😄
My team is excited to start using Calendars. It would be great if there was an export feature so we could take calendars to meetings for project kick-offs as well as to hash out work schedules and priorities. Thanks!
Hi all, thanks for the continued feedback here. I'm curious about the printing feature raised here. It would be great to learn how exactly you would use a 'Print' feature and some use-cases too. Thank you 👍
Stephen, We work with hundreds of external customers on their local marketing plans. In order to make this efficient and usable by all, we need to offer options for viewing calendars. Assisting all of them (and managing) user names and passwords as collaborators is not ideal. The share and view only link is helpful - but some prefer to print a PDF of their year-long calendar throughout their offices in order to keep it top of mind and for staff to have access and visibility as well. A simple print option with the ability to print as a PDF would be wonderful!
We can unshare a dashboard previosly shared with us. Similar function for calendars and reports would be nice
Just dropping by to congratulate you all on the Wrikebot! Totally my favorite helper in managing my work. 😚
It would be helpful to be able to create a simple calendar that everyone it is shared with could edit or add tasks without having to link to other folders or projects. For example PTO or an On call Schedule
It would be nice in the manual calendar for me to select one parent task, and have all the sub tasks appear in the calendar vs. haivng to select each one-by-one
+1 For creating the integration with Outlook
Hey everyone, thanks for providing your feedback, we log all of it with the relevant team 👍

The ability to sort the list of tasks in the Calendar view would be really useful! Currently there seems to be no order to the list. Ideally i would like the ability to sort by task name, and/or by task status at a minimum, for the advanced level it would be good to have the same level of filtering as in other views (inc custom fields).
