[Backburner ⌛️] Reply to a specific comment under that comment
Hi,
It would be great if you can reply to a specific comment. This can be challenging when there are lots of people collaborating and lots of great comments being made.
It can however get really confusing as to which thread you are replying to. We'd love to when you click reply next to the comment for the comment to just appear below?

We have a lot of collaborating too, so seeing threads or even an indicator as to which comment the reply was from, would be awesome.

Sorry for the delay here guys. The Product Team have said any enhancements to comments are on hold while they work on another feature which indirectly effects comments as they are.
I've changed this thread status to Backburner because it's something they think makes a lot of sense; they want to do, but have not had the time to fully investigate. When that changes, I'll update you here 🙂
We would also really like to have this feature implemented as well. Has there been any update on this request since February?

The comments section becomes a dumpster fire once we have multiple threads of conversations on the same task.
Agreed 100% with Daniel 🚀 Lipschitz. You guys have a great activity stream - in fact a bit overemphasized in the Task Details pane I think - but well designed in what it shows and how much info it tracks. But the comments just kind of flow in with activity. It would be much better if you could ask a question or otherwise have focus to a comment, and then have responses to that - a sort of mini-topic within the activity stream, in other words Threaded Comments.

I would also really appreciate this feature being implemented. Our thread gets very confusing when we can't make a specific reply to a comment made.
Our team uses the reply feature in Zoom chat and in Teams and it would be really awesome if we could get this feature on Wrike. It would make our conversations much more seamless.
It would be really nice to have all the comments under the same "conversation"

Sharing some feedback from my team:
A: One thing I'm curious about is whether Wrike has plans to link replies to comments back to the original post. It's somewhat unmanageable with multiple people in a thread replying at different times.
B: Yes, if they have the "reply" button, the comments really need to be threaded. I thought that was maybe a bug.
Yes, our team would really appreciate being able to reply to a specific comment directly under the comment. With so many people commenting in a thread the responses get lost and we end up using other methods like Zoom. Thank you!
You've got my upvote. Comment threading is a standard feature in most platforms, including a choice between grouped and ungrouped.
