โœ… Releases - Enhanced Request Form Capabilities and Mobile App Improvements (12/02/2024)

Feature Updates

We're excited to introduce several improvements to our request forms, designed to enhance user experience and operational efficiencies.
ย
Key Updates Include:
ย
1. Move Request Forms Between Spaces:
ย
You can now move request forms across different Spaces with ease. This highly requested feature is now available through requesting to move a form from our Support team.ย You can submit a ticket here. Please note that an approval from your Account team at Wrike will be required to move request forms.
ย
2. Auto-Populated Mirror Fields:ย
ย
This new functionality will automatically retrieve related data from Datahub when a selection is made in request forms.
ย
It eliminates the need for manual input by the submitter, thus making processes more efficient by auto-populating fields with relevant information.
ย
For example, when selecting a client, details such as the responsible manager, champion name or feature enablement etc. are automatically filled in.
ย
We're happy to share some updates to the Wrike mobile apps that make staying on top of your tasks and projects easier wherever you are. Check out what's new!
ย
Key Updates Include:
ย
1. Easily Pin or Unpin Dashboards from Mobile:
ย
Managing your favorite Dashboards just got simpler! You can now pin or unpin any dashboard directly from the mobile app, giving you quick access to the most important insights wherever you are.
ย
2. Drag and Drop Tasks in Board View:
ย
We had previously launched a new and improved Board view experience on Mobile. Now, you can drag and drop tasks to update their status, making it more in line with Board view in Wrike.
ย
This makes it easier to organize your workflows and keep tasks moving forwardโ€”all from the convenience of your mobile device.

Hi Hello,

i have questions and feedback about request form.

I have created a form that create automatically an item but is not possible to ubicate this item, the request, in a specific project.

Is only possible to auto-ubicate the item that the form generates, in a general project or folder.ย ย

But the problem is that i use wrike to work on several projects. And the request form is necessary for all this several project i am working on it.

Will auto populated fields also be available for non datahub things?

Like per default selected fields?ย

For some of our request forms we have them manually tick something so we can add it to the Task title like :

[Processname] [Name] _ [Input2]_[Input3]

Hi David and Florian. Thank you for reaching out! ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Davide Rosati: I believe you're trying to use Request Forms to automatically place items into specific projects rather than a general project or folder. A potential solution could be to use conditional logic within the form. If you want to assign different parent folders, spaces, or projects based on the submitter's choice, you can do so by deleting the general location for "Save to" and using only conditional options. More information here. This way, requests can be directed precisely where they're needed.

Does this answer your question? If not, please feel free to share more details. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Florian Gascho: Thank you for your question. If you're looking to set default values in Request Forms, you can achieve this by selecting the target value from the mapped Custom Field directly in the form editor. This way, certain fields can have predefined selections to streamline filling out tasks with consistent elements.

If I misunderstood your comment, please feel free to share more details. Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Basudha Sakshyarika, yes that does go towards my wish. However it is more of a can I adjust the form in a way that any "add to title" will be added to the BP Title?

For example my Blueprint Task is named "Create Work instructions CAS", "Create Work Instructions GAF" etc.

Within the form, I would need to select some kind of question to select that name (even if its preselected). Which confuses our users.

Ideally I just want them to add the fields that would be added to the title.

to pick up the Example again:

Creat Work Instructions GAF + [Articlenumber]+ [Projectnumber]+ [Priority].

So from the viewpoint of the user, the questions make more sense.

Hope this clears up the wish from my users.
BR and happy holidays
