Show TOTAL allocated time (booked and assigned) in one report.

Hi,

I'm struggling with a report.  I want to show all allocated time per user - which will include assigned effort and booked effort.  However,  because assigned effort is based off the task assignee, and booked effort is based of the booked effort assignee, I'm struggling to do this in one report.

Has anyone achieved this before?

Hi Katie May, I'll keep you posted if I find a solution. The WA community doesn't seem to be the most active of places...

Hi Phil Taylor
I don't use a lot bookings, but Assignee used for booked effort is different from Assignee used fo assigned effort in WA.

I think it is not feasible at the moment.

Pietro Poli Thanks for your comment, I have come to this conclusion myself too!  Thanks for your help though.

Hi Phil Taylor! Happy to see you again:)

It sounds like the Utilization & Performance data model would be the best match for this report! Since it's a user-centered schema, you can display several time metrics in a row for each user. In particular, you can use "Effort Task Effort" and "Booked Effort" for Values in your Pivot widget. However, this approach will only work if no descriptive project or task data is required (Task Name, Project Due Date, etc.).

If you want to base your report on projects, I would recommend having two widgets instead: one based on Wrike Core with project data, and the other one based on Utilization & Performance with user data. Combining these two data sets in the same widget unfortunately isn't possible. Conditional formulas wouldn't help here either because the Booked Effort data table doesn't have Assignee ID, which means it's not possible to compare booking and task assignees with each other using filters.
