How can we email tasks to specific project/folders since the Lightning Speed Upgrade

Prior to the Lightning Speed upgrade, there used to be a hyperlink specific to emailing tasks that we could copy and paste into emails that I'm unable to find.  Not sure if it has been moved or removed.  Please help.

I would also like to see if this is still possible.

Unfortunately, with Lightspeed, updating tasks per email is not as easy and comfortable as it used to be - but the features are still there. Just well hidden :)

You have to click on "..." then choose "Update per email" and then you can copy the link.
The subject-line with brackets are not available anymore to be copy-pasted, in case you used these as well, but you can just enter the project's title in the subject line and put the brackets manually.

Dear Wrike Team,

are you sure cleaning up all icons which aren't used by everybody very often means an advandage and helps fasten workflows? I guess not. Prior to lightspedd I was able to check all followers of a task by hovering over the follow icon. Now I need two clicks to do so. And this is quite important to ensure everyone in charge will receive my message if I write @followers.

I suggested some years ago to improve this functionallity (see https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360044107893/comments/360011460193), now it's getting even worse!

Hi Lisa, may I ask: Can you/the team explain to us, why this change was made? In the original new list view, this feature was removed - causing a backlash, which lead to this new implementation in the sub menu (while still missing the copy-paste-subject line). From a user's POV, this change is making no sense at all and is just a degredation of user experience.

Background to this question: From the customer facing teams, the changes to Update by Email are the ones that are critized the most and are still causing frustration - 20 days after lightspeed roll out to our Wrike.

Hello Ralph Hirle, thank you for sharing this question with us. During the Wrike Lightspeed rollout, some functions can be susceptible to changes. When we receive your feedback as the one shared in this thread, we pass it to our Product Team, which decides to take the necessary actions. Here is an example of how this process works:

- An Update on the Recent Item View Changes

- Exciting Item View Update: Mode Switcher.

I'm afraid that in some cases, some suggestions cannot be prioritized as quickly as we'd like, but your feedback is always noted and considered. Please, rest assured that we will keep you informed if any changes occur. If you have any additional questions, we are here to help!

Hi @... thanks for your feedback! The inital change/feedback about "update via email" was discussed back in April, pre roll-out.

Lightspeed: Add back the Permalink for email address – Wrike Help Center

It resulted in a re-implementation of half of the feature, but it is now hidden in some sub-menu instead of the clip-short cut and still missing the subject-line. From a user's perspective the whole process does not make a lot of sense (hence my question :)), especially since it is/was about *not removing* a well-used feature, instead of (re)-implementing something.

Hi @Ralph Hirle, thank you for your reply. I completely understand your point. Please rest assured that your feedback has been noted and we will keep you informed of any updates 👍

As mentioned previously, the Lightspeed rollout process is susceptible to changes, and we appreciate your feedback which helps us continue to improve and adjust the new experience 🙂 Regarding the current logic of the functionality, as illustrated in the example I shared in my previous message, the relocation of certain elements can have impacts that may not be fully understood until put into practice. For this reason, we truly value your comments and take them into consideration.

Thank you once again for taking the time to share the details of your use case with us 😁
