Keep Date Aggregation (Rollup) Settings when duplicating Projects
In our most important blueprints, we have included a complex project hierarchy that has the date aggregation functionality enabled, so that project dates are determined by the sub-projects and sub-tasks below them. For users it is quite cumbersome to re-enable the date rollup in every copied project. If users forget to do that, their project will behave quite differently without a real hint why.
So, whenever a project is created from a blueprint or duplicated, the date rollup settings should be copied as well. The best solution might even be to allow the user to choose whether these settings should be copied or not.
Thank you very much in advance 🙂
Seconding this- would be great to have.

Wiebke Willems, thank you for sharing your use case and Nadine Riordan for supporting the suggestion! I've passed it on to our Product team.
Here is a useful article explaining what happens after we receive Product feedback 🖊
This critical for us as well - currently we build all our projects via blueprints and have enabled date rollup for the blueprint but still have to manually enable date rollup for each project which is too prone to human error. community team is there any update on this one?
Hi Dan Cliff, thank you for checking in. There are no updates currently, we continue to pass on new feedback from this thread to the Product team, and once the suggestion reaches 60 upvotes, we'll ask the team to provide a Product status here 👍
woof! can I vote 60x? A project time frame is dependent on all the steps beneath it. You should capture dates for an audit if the original date shifts as a measuring point.
Hi Eric Sebor, thank you for sharing your feedback, I do understand how important this functionality is for you. I'll be sure to let you know if there are any updates in relation to this suggestion👍🏼
