Scatter Chart - Milestones on X - Axis rearranged (not in sequence; scattered) when formula for size of bubble added

I have  a scatter chart with project names along the Y axis (vertical) and milestone dates along the Y-axis.  The size of the bubble is dependent on a formula using DDIF to calculate the number of days from now() to the milestone due date.  The sizing works (includes the number of days until the deadline as well in the bubble) however, it rearranges the order of the milestones so they cease to be in chronological order.  I asked chat gpt-4 to show me the formula in sisense to overcome the issue but it uses terminology not recognized in the plug in.  How do I remedy  the issue?

This is the scatter chart with the letters on the y-axis being the last couple of letters of the project name, X-axis represents the milestone due dates associated with the project, the numbers in the bubble represent the days remaining in the deadline (the larger the bubble the more days), and the colors represent the project status.  Note that the milestone due dates on the x axis reading from left to right are not in order.  If I don't have anything for the size element in the chart the ordering on the x-axis is in the correct chronological order.  Thoughts?
