[From Wrike] Hyperlinks in Comments ๐
รpinglรฉe En avantHappy Friday, Community ๐
Today, weโd like to share a small but important update that many of you have been waiting for - you can now hyperlink text in comments ๐ฅณ
Please note that embedding links in comments works for both classic tasks, projects and folders, as well as the new Work item view.ย
We hope youโll find this a useful addition. Please share your feedback and questions below ๐

Woo hoo!
I was hoping you'd add the option to create a hyperlink field - this is what would be most useful to those of us that use the tabular view.ย Is that on the roadmap?ย It really is not a complicated ask.
ย
Juan MM I added a custom text field to the table view, I put a valid URL in there, and it is not clickable.ย I have been using this for some time.ย I end up having to copy the url text and put it in a browser to reach the linked page.
Here's pic of the text field, valid URL in it, and it is not clickable.
Hi Jim Demitriou, thank you for mentioning this. Links are clickable in the New Table View, in case you are experiencing a different behavior, please let us know and we will request one of our Support agents to assist you with this. Thank you!
New user, trying to get up to speed in general, but specifically on how to embed links into notes.
I initially was tripped up the space issue (having a space in the path/filename, and needing to replace it with %20), but got that figured out. It would be great if, instead of just not accepting the input, there was guidance on what the issue is.
Further on that point though, I now have a filename that uses %20 instead of spaces, but it still doesn't work -- even though the hyperlink works in non-Wrike environments (i.e. in the web browser, or the PC O/S). Are there other characters that Wrike disallows in filenames, that we should be aware of?
Hey Lee Mills, welcome to the forums ๐
I've asked our Support team to look into your question, someone will reach out to you ๐
Let me know if you need help with anything else.ย
