"My Work" view doesn't show "Deferred" tasks

"On Hold" tasks disappear from My Work view because it only shows Active or Completed tasks. What is the thinking behind this?

The work around is to create a Dashboard that displays all my work tasks, but that sort of defeats the purpose of the "My Work" view.  Another work around is to search for the task, but that assumes I remember I have a deferred task and remember the name of it.

This is also a major pain point for our team.   This would also make any "On Hold" status much more useful since a user can go back and reactivate at the appropriate time.

I add a +1 and hopefully up a bit this topic.

I am missing one the filter option that would be "all open" tasks, that would combine active and on hold.

doing this would allow to easily see what is not done; and, in your request be the setup of "My work" section.

@Robert @Kavan @Julien Hey! Sorry it took so long to respond here.
The great news is you can now use the Updated My Work (available in Wrike Labs). The updated version of My Work section has the All My Tasks tab that shows all your tasks regardless of their status and the Created By Me tab that shows all tasks you created again regardless of their status. Feel free to check out our Help Center article on the updated My Work .
If you have further questions, please get back to me here, I'll be happy to discuss 🙂

Hi, agree with these comments. But for me it isn't the My Work tab that's the issue. 'Deferred' statuses do not mean to me 'completed' they mean 'active' but just delayed, so the job has got pushed back. But I still need to see them in the project list.

The only workaround is create literally all of your statuses under Active, which seems mad.

Or is this just me?

:-)

@Kate, if you need to see all "Active" and "On hold" tasks in the project view, you can set up the filter to show them:

Hope that helps 🙌
