Project requests should be able to trigger e-mails
We have a project template triggered by a project request that has a task already assigned to somebody. But neither the assigned project owner nor the person assigned to a task created can get an e-mail. At least a project owner should be able to get an e-mail if a project was assigned to him and when duplicating a project through a project request the people assigned to a task should be able to get an e-mail too.
Agree! Would love to see notifications when users are assigned as a project owner as well as email notification options for activities on that project.
Agree here, too! We have Collaborators filling out an Internal Request Form that is assigned to different staff members as Owners (depending on the project type). Our staff members need to get email notifications so they know they have been assigned a project or they may miss a time-sensitive project/task.
Agreed. Our users are missing projects because they are unaware that they have been assigned to them as owners. Why do you get an email when you are assigned a task but you don't when you are assigned as the owner?
Hi Jeanine Lore, thank you for posting! May I ask if you've considered using Automation for this? You can create a rule as in the image. Please let me know if you have any questions🙋🏻♀️
